Queen Elizabeth II passed away today, September 8th, 2022. We’d like to extend our deepest sympathies to the members of the Royal Family and all those who are mourning the passing of The Queen.

Her reign impacted not only the Commonwealth that she presided over but countries and people all over the world. She ruled through both peaceful and turbulent times, and her impact will be remembered long after her passing.
Following the death of Queen Elizabeth II, former Disney CEO Bob Iger extended his condolences and shared the respect he has for The Queen and her legacy.
Iger said, “The world has lost an extraordinary person, Queen Elizabeth. I always respected and appreciated her energy, dedication, fortitude…her deep sense of duty….and the fact that she loved her job and her people loved her back. The true and sad end of an era….”

Charles, the former Prince of Wales, has now become the King and head of state for 14 Commonwealth realms.
In the obituary for The Queen, BBC reported that “The long reign of Queen Elizabeth II was marked by her strong sense of duty and her determination to dedicate her life to her throne and to her people.” Queen Elizabeth II was recorded saying, “When I was 21, I pledged my life to the service of our people and I asked for God’s help to make good that vow. Although that vow was made in my salad days, when I was green in judgment, I do not regret, or retract, one word of it.”

Again, we share our sympathy with all those who are mourning the loss of Queen Elizabeth at this time.
