Disney+ Day will be here before you know it!
This ultimate celebration of Disney+ subscribers is coming up on September 8th, 2022. In the past, Disney+ Day has brought us tons of new announcements, film and series premieres, and even special perks in the parks! We’ve been hoping some of these experiences would return this year, and it looks like Disney+ is giving subscribers an exclusive park perk!
Disney+ has brought us tons of great shows and movies since its debut, and to celebrate, subscribers heading to ANY of the parks at Disneyland or Disney World on September 8th, 2022 can enter the parks 30 minutes before normal park opening time.
Of course, valid park admission and park pass reservations are still required, so keep that in mind if you want to take advantage of this benefit! Normally, Early Theme Park Entry is reserved for guests at Disney World Resort Hotels and Disneyland Hotels — but on Disney+ Day, those guests get an upgraded perk.
On September 8th, guests staying at select Disney World or Disneyland Resort Hotels can enter the parks 60 minutes before opening! You’ll need park admission and park pass reservations to enter the parks a full HOUR before opening.
Not only can this help you get a jump start on your day, but getting to the parks early can help you beat some of those longer lines at popular attractions.
Disney+ subscribers will also receive free Disney PhotoPass downloads at certain locations in Disney’s Hollywood Studios in Disney World and the Disneyland Resort parks on September 8th.
We’re also looking forward to exciting character cavalcades, meet and greets, and special movie screenings at Disney World hotels, while over in Disneyland resort guests can enjoy themed snacks, special photo ops, and a movie screening for Disneyland Resort hotel guests.

Which park do you think would be the best to visit on Disney+ Day – will any park have more goodies and benefits than any other? At the moment we’ve got park reservations for Animal Kingdom but I’m just wondering if that’s the best park to be in.
Hi Ruth! If you’re wanting to celebrate Disney+ Day the park you’ll need to be in is Hollywood Studios.
Wow, a whole hour on one specific day of the year! Nope, doesn’t make one bit of difference to me.
