NEWS: Your Next Flight to Disney World Could Be CHEAPER

Thinking about planning a trip to Disney World soon?

Good news if you’re traveling soon!

We certainly don’t blame you! But, if you’ve been worried about all the recent issues plaguing the airline industry, you might be wondering whether or not planning a trip is worth it. We’re here to tell you that now might be a perfect time to book that trip, as airline ticket prices are dropping!

Travelers can breathe a sigh of relief — at least for a little while — as airfares are coming down! According to the Associated Press, the average price of an airline ticket dropped by 7.8% in July, down to $311. While this may sound like great news, the average ticket was still 27.7% higher than in July last year.

Overall inflation slowed down minimally in July as well, but consumer prices are still up 8.5% compared to a year ago.

Airfare is dropping

Demand has caused airlines to be able to raise the cost of airfare, but increased fuel prices are still being cited as one of the main reasons for higher fares. We saw ticket prices peak in May, but prices are down which can be typical in late summer and early autumn as kids return to school.

Try to book early when you can.

Travel app Hopper has predicted that domestic airfare will drop to $286 in August. Although prices are expected to rise again in October and November, Hopper predicts that airfare will be $300 or below through September. Prices are likely to go up as many people will be booking Thanksgiving or Christmas travel and demand raises prices yet again.

Air travel

If you’re planning a trip for August or September, you might benefit from these lower prices. But if you’ve got holiday travel plans, make sure you book as early as possible as prices are expected to increase and fill up FAST!
