Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa has been a popular tropical destination for many Disney fans since it first opened in 2011.

Boasting incredible island and ocean views, Aulani is home to studio, villa, and standard hotel rooms and suites, along with multiple restaurants. There are also lots of recreation offerings to enjoy — from pools and lazy rivers to beach activities and character meet-and-greets, Aulani has it all. But, when Aulani reopened after the pandemic-related closure, not everything opened back up with it. Now Disney has announced that a resort offering will be coming back SOON!
Aunty’s Beach House at Disney’s Aulani Resort & Spa is a kids’ club that generally offers programs for kids ages 5-12. This spot has been closed for a long time but will be reopening on May 25th, 2022! And, for the first time, it’ll offer evening activities that the whole family can participate in!

The space is designed as a typical hale (or house) for kiddos where they can visit their “aunty.” There are 6 different rooms dedicated to a variety of activities. There’s a movie room, a computer lab, a game room, and even an arts and crafts studio!
It has been closed for quite some time, but parents will soon once again be able to reserve a playtime in Aunty’s Beach House from 8AM and 2PM daily for “secured children’s programming.”
During these hours, parents can pick 1.5 hours of playtime for complimentary activities (on Uncle’s Side) or 2 hours on Aunty’s Side (which features premium activities).
But kiddos aren’t the only ones who will be able to have fun here now. From 4PM to 9PM at Aunty’s Beach House, there will now be fun for the whole family. There will be complimentary and premium activities available, including ukulele lessons, animation lessons, and fun photo opportunities.

There will be new health and safety protocols in place when Aunty’s House reopens including “face-covering requirements, capacity limits, physical distancing, spacing between craft benches and play areas and temperature checks.”
Reservations are required and can be booked starting May 11th, 2022 (7AM Hawaii standard time) for dates starting on May 25th on the Aulani website (or by calling (808) 674-6943 from 7AM– 9:30PM daily), so head on over if you think your kids (or you) could use some fun!
