7 Hidden Mickeys Only the Pros Can Find in Disney World

One of the most interesting things about Disney World is all of the Hidden Mickeys that Disney Imagineers have placed in the parks and resorts, in merch, and you can make even make them at home! Rest assured that if you look for them, you’ll find ’em. Now, what we wanted to share was a list of some of the hardest-to-find ones. Let’s see how many you know about!

As you know, those Hidden Mickeys can be pretty cleverly hidden designs throughout Disney World. Let’s go over some of the most difficult-to-spot Mickeys and see which you’ve already found!

Steamboat Willie

Let’s start with a tough one, but don’t worry. Once you see it, you can’t unsee it!

Hidden Mickeys are everywhere!

At the exit of Under the Sea – Journey of the Little Mermaid in Magic Kingdom,  you’ll find this gathering of rocks on the water. All you have to do is line them up correctly and you’ll see Steamboat Willie!!

Keep his classic image in mind and you’ll be able to pick out the steering wheel, his legs, and those iconic shorts. Further back is his face and the top of his head. Can you see it all?

A Profile Drop

We’re not sure if this one is going to be just a thing of the past or will be part of Tiana’s Bayou Adventure, but there was a fun one to spot as you were about to take that plunge on Splash Mountain!

See it?

If you looked quickly to the left right before the drop, you could catch a glimpse of Mickey’s profile looking your way. Can you see his nose?

Did you know there’s a Hidden Mickey in the Gran Fiesta Tour over in the Mexico Pavilion at EPCOT?

Near the end of the ride, there is a modern cityscape depicted on the walls. Look closely and you may just happen to see a silhouette of Mickey hidden in one of the skyscraper windows. Can you spot it?

Snowflake Mickey

While we’re in EPCOT, go on and pop into The Land Pavilion where you can find one that’s hidden in plain sight.

Have a look at the hot air balloons in the center of the room and notice the snowflakes hanging down… Wait for it. Did you spot the hidden Mickey? It’s definitely one that many people walk underneath every single day and never even notice.

The Plush of Our Dreams or Nightmares?

Our next stop is over at Hollywood Studios, specifically inside a pretty iconic hotel.

While you’re getting properly shaken up for the Tower of Terror, keep an eye out during the pre-show. The eagle-eyed among you might be able to spot a Mickey plush in a little girl’s hand when she and her family enter that fateful elevator. Did you spot it?

Feeling Pink?

Let’s not forget about Disney’s Animal Kingdom. When was the last time you went on Kilimanjaro Safaris? Chances are that you’ve passed by one of the biggest Hidden Mickeys on this ride and didn’t even notice it!

Don’t miss out on the island of flamingos because it’s actually an enormous hidden Mickey! Have you seen it?

The most rare one of all?

Let’s head back to Magic Kingdom for what might be the hardest Hidden Mickey to find on this list. In fact, it’s so rare you can only see it once every year.

Alright!!

Basically what happens is that in the queue for Under the Sea — Journey of the Little Mermaid, right around noon on November 18th, the sun shines through the rocks in just the right way and creates a Mickey in the ground/wall near it. That means you’ve got to time your visit to this queue perfectly to be able to see this one!
