Disney’s Celebrate Soulfully event highlights Black heritage and culture.
We saw some celebrations as part of the event this past February for Black History Month, and it will be returning again to Disneyland Resort for Black Music Month in June! And for the very first time, the “The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” touring exhibit will come to Disneyland as part of this celebration!
“The Soul of Jazz: An American Adventure” is a touring exhibit that we’ve already seen before in Disney World. In this exhibit, Joe Gardner, the star of Pixar’s Soul, takes guests on a journey through the history of American Jazz.
It’s educational, bright, and includes historical memorabilia!
The exhibit can be found from June 1st to July 4th in the Downtown Disney District, next to Star Wars Trading Post. And of course, this exhibit isn’t the only offering during the event! There will also be daily live music celebrating Black music genres at the Hollywood Backlot in Disney California Adventure…
…live music nightly in the Downtown Disney District…
…and special menu items from Troubadour Tavern. In addition, the “Tale of the Lion King” show will return on May 28th in Disneyland!
Celebrate Soulfully will take place from June 1st to July 4th, so visit Disneyland between those dates to partake in this special celebration. We’ll continue to keep you updated on the offerings for Celebrate Soulfully, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
