Disney Recipe: How to Make TOY STORY Pancakes!

Disney’s always releasing fun new recipes that we love to try. Whether you’re a sweet fan, savory connoisseur, or both, there seems to be something for everyone!

Lately, we’ve seen Alice in Wonderland-themed tarts, a Matzo recipe to celebrate Passover, and blue Mickey macarons. Now, Disney has just released a new recipe that you’ll want to add to tomorrow’s breakfast menu!

Ingredients

• 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
• 2 cups blueberries
• 1/2 cup yellow cornmeal
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1 tablespoon sugar
• 1/4 teaspoon kosher salt
• 3 tablespoons fresh basil
• 1 tablespoon maple syrup
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking soda
• 2 large eggs
• 2 1/4 cups 1% buttermilk
• 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese

Instructions

Prepare your maple butter by combining your maple syrup and butter. Mix until combined, and then set the bowl aside.

Next, prepare your batter in a separate bowl by combining your flour, cornmeal, sugar, salt, baking soda, and baking powder. Whisk it together, and then add in your buttermilk and eggs. Whisk until combined.

Now, split your batter into two separate bowls. Mix the blueberries and basil in one bowl, and leave the other as is. Let your Toy Story Pancake Maker preheat for 4-5 minutes, and then pour in your batter. When you see the sides of your pancakes start to bubble, you’ll know it’s time to flip them. In 2-3 minutes, you’ll have hot pancakes ready to serve!
