The Main Street Electrical Parade is returning TONIGHT to Disneyland, along with World of Color and the Disneyland Forever fireworks, and we can’t wait. Not only is the parade returning, but it’s bringing with it a new popcorn bucket, sipper, and collection of merchandise!
We were invited to a preview of the parade’s return in Disneyland, where we got to see all of the new merchandise. Yesterday, we even found the Main Street Electrical Parade Minnie ears in Disney’s Hollywood Studios! Now, we’ve spotted another item in the collection in an even more unexpected place.
Yesterday, we spotted the Main Street Electrical Parade Minnie ears at The Darkroom in Hollywood Studios. Today, we found the ears in a new location, and they were joined by the Main Street Electrical Parade Loungefly backpack! You’ll have to head to Island Mercantile in Disney’s Animal Kingdom to find this treasure.
This backpack features a lot of the same design elements as the ears, with Elliott the Dragon, Mickey Mouse, and floats from the parade! It even has a pouch and strap on the front, which can help you store your matching Minnie ears when you’re not wearing them.
The backpack has a black background with awesome pops of color and bright musical notes throughout. And, as if this backpack needed to be any cooler, it also glows in the dark!
Similar to the ears, most of our attention is drawn to the designs of the various parade floats, but there are also pops of yellow on the straps and pink around the zipper!
The backpack is $75 and we found it at Island Mercantile in Animal Kingdom along with the new ears, which are $39.99.

Yesterday, Cast Members said quantities were limited, so there’s no telling how long these items will be available. We recommend acting fast if you want to grab one of these before they’re gone!
