One of Disney’s popular Deluxe Resorts is preparing for a major project. If you plan on visiting Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort this spring, you might want to hear this important update.

Beginning on March 1st, 2022, Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort will begin a refurbishment. Disney has not stated how long the refurbishment will last, but we’ll be on the lookout for updates.
During the refurbishment, Disney warned that guests may see and hear active construction during the day. According to the Disney website, most hotel amenities will remain available throughout the construction project.
In 2021, Disney shared its plans to expand the Disney Vacation Club villas. We saw a little preview of the proposed rooms, which included both new studio rooms and changes to existing villas.
