Disney World’s Electrical Water Pageant is FINALLY Getting an Update!

It’s almost time for the Walt Disney World 50th Anniversary!

Magic Kingdom

Disney has been preparing for the celebrations across the parks and resorts with brand new decorations, announcements on new dining options, and more. And, now the two new fireworks shows at Magic Kingdom and EPCOT won’t be the only way to celebrate the 50th anniversary at night!

Disney has announced that the Electrical Water Pageant will feature new “celebratory scenes” that include a version of the 50th-anniversary anthem, “The Magic is Calling” (which will also be featured during Disney Enchantment at Magic Kingdom).

The new scenes will bookend the show that sails nightly around the Seven Seas Lagoon, providing shows every 15 minutes between 9PM to 10:30PM at various locations.

If you’d like to catch the show while you’re visiting for the 50th-anniversary after October 1st, you can watch from Disney’s Grand Floridian Resort & Spa, Disney’s Polynesian Village Resort, Disney’s Wilderness Lodge, Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort and Campground, and Disney’s Contemporary Resort. Just ask a Cast Member at the front desk what time the show will make it to your viewing location.

  1. The charm of the electrical water pageant is that it is vintage Disney World – the Disney World of my son’s childhood, when we camped at Fort Wilderness because it’s what we could afford. I hope the updates don’t change it too much.
