Put on your helmet and strap into the commander’s seat because it’s go time! While we’ve waited for 4 long years since Space 220 was first announced in 2017, EPCOT’s immersive restaurant Space 220 finally opens today!

While Space 220 will be allowing walk-ins at first, dining reservations are now available for the space-themed restaurant and are highly recommended for September 27th and beyond.Â
Located in EPCOT near Mission: SPACE, the highly anticipated Space 220 restaurant officially opens today, September 20th, which is the same day that dining reservations have also opened to guests.

While Disney will be allowing walk-ins to Space 220 from September 20th through the 26th, reservations will be available for time slots beginning on September 27th. Space 220 is currently serving lunch and dinner with a prix fixe menu.

Reservations went live around 5:30AM this morning and started to get booked up quickly! The website and My Disney Experience app both got a little overloaded with people, even at such an early time. So, you might want to make reservations ASAP before they get filled up!

If you’re ready to ride a space elevator 220 miles (or, in reality, maybe two stories) up to dine on a space station with ‘real time’ views of the ultimate abyss, schedule your reservation now! Keep reading AllEars for more Space 220 and Disney World news!

We were on-line on two computers and two mobile phones at 0530 EST. Every time selection that we made ended with a reservation system error or a technical difficulty reported until an hour and half elapsed there were no more times available. We are fuming at this ridiculous situation.
By the time I’ll be able to get a reservation here, there will either be an existing real restaurant on a space station, or I’ll be dead.
Called Disney about what time reservations would open for Space 220. Was told that they would open at 6am eastern time on the 20th of Sept.. So I got up at ( Texas time period) 445am and opened up my computer to find they were already open and had been open for 15 minutes. . By that time they were gone. I am getting very disappointed in Disney. They give out information that is not correct. I am getting a very bitter feeling about Disney.
Disappointing. Is it worth it to keep trying?
