Is The Pog Juice Shortage at Disney World Finally Over?

It’s been an interesting year at Disney World, to say the least. First, we saw a bit of a ketchup shortage, but then we noticed our beloved Pog Juice was disappearing from certain locations!

If you’ve never had Pog Juice (which goes by a few names in Disney World), you might not understand why that’s a problem. But Pog Juice is one of Disney World’s most popular drinks — it’s made with passion fruit, orange, and guava juices. And it’s usually available at a variety of locations, including Tusker House Restaurant at Disney’s Animal Kingdom.

But last month, we started to notice that Pog Juice and drinks made with it were becoming more scarce at Disney World. Why? From our understanding, Disney obtains the juice from a manufacturer and there were some supply issues.

But as of today, that situation seems to be resolved — Pog Juice has returned to Disney World! We stopped by Dawa Bar at Animal Kingdom to order the Ngumu Jungle Juice, which is made with Snow Leopard Vodka, Bols Peach Schnapps, and Pog Juice. And it was available!

According to Cast Members, Pog Juice has a new manufacturer and it’s now supplied by Nestle. Your biggest question may be, “Does it taste different?” But we couldn’t tell a difference in taste from the old Pog Juice. We also couldn’t taste much of the alcohol in this drink because the Pog Juice flavor is so prominent. It also looks the same!

This drink is $13, but you can get just regular Pog Juice at Tusker House Restaurant — we confirmed with a Cast Member that it’s available there now.
