  1. Dear AllEars team,
Please do not pay WDW for Genie+, this encouraging them in this obnoxious money grab scheme. Please also do not encourage anyone to use it. Perhaps this could be one of the few times in history that Disney actually changes something based on what the guests want if we all refuse to use it and throw enough of a fit through petitions, social media, etc.

  2. I have a great idea. Charge a base price for park entrance then sell ticket books for the rides. These books would have, say, ten A ride tickets for the not so popular attractions, six B tickets, five C rides, three D rides and ONE E ride Ticket for those got to go on it attractions. Just think. People would buy multiple books to get more E ride tickets and most of the other tickets in the book would be unused increasing Disney profits.

  3. Agree with other writers . Been over 12 times but after Disney’s actions since the new management team it is doubtful I will ever go again, unless they bring back the magic that was WDW.

  4. Disney Genie should not be used. It is a Disney marketing and revenue generating program to better control park guests, and it is an unsecured app. Published wait times in My Disney Experience are not accurate and appear to be manipulated by Disney to control park guests. With the new Disney it’s all about generating revenues and controlling park guests.

  5. Soooooooo…..I assume Disney is going to limit the number of Individual Attraction (Fancy Ride) tickets for a ride on any one day that they give out. Similarly to the way they limited the number of Fast Passes. So, what I want to know is what happens when you are staying on site at 7:00 AM and you try to get an Individual Attraction pass for ROTR but find out there are not any more available. By the time you determine that, the normal virtual queue tickets for ROTR will be gone. So, you will have paid the extra $$$ to ride ROTR but will be shut out completely from riding it ???? I am probably missing something here, but let’s hope this isn’t the case.

  6. Once you are able to, could you share with us how you sign up for DAS through Genie? Historically, cast members have assessed whether someone is eligible for the system without the need for a medical letter etc… This has resulted in some degree of screening. How will this work with genie? How will the system prevent people saying that they “need” to use DAS when actually they do not? In theory I think this is a good idea as I have always found it very difficult to request this service from a cast member since I have a hidden disability (autism) and talking to people makes me feel very uncomfortable. It is embarrassing to explain to someone what might happen if I get overwhelmed in a queue so I would love to be able to use Genie to register for the service.

    1. Hi Amanda! From the information Disney has released, once the program is live you will be able to pre-register online with a Cast Member through live chat up to 30 days in advance of your visit! Once the system is live, we will absolutely share more details on how it works! 🙂
