Most Disney-goers spend a lot of time planning which parks they’ll visit each day during their trip, but there are also a lot of special events that take place outside of the parks worth exploring!
Recently, guests have been able to try limited-time eats at Disney Springs during Flavors of Florida, and over at Downtown Disney, some guests were lucky enough to hear from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson before Disneyland’s Jungle Cruise premiere event. And, soon guests on both the east coast and west coast will be able to participate in all-new experiences!
A brand new kids baking show is coming to Disney Channel and DisneyNOW on August 13th called Disney’s Magic Bake-Off. Co-hosted by Issac Ryan Brown and Dara Renee, each episode will feature three teams as they race to create the best Disney-inspired cake and be crowned the Disney Baking Champion. And, soon Disney will be bringing pieces of the show to guests in Disneyland AND Disney World!
Over in Downtown Disney District, kids will be able to put their cupcake decorating skills to the test during a special experience between August 20th to August 22nd. The shows will take place at 5PM, 6PM, and 7PM and will be a FREE event for kids to sign up for and decorate desserts with Disneyland Chef Gracie.
Space will be limited, so be sure to head to Downtown Disney when sign-ups begin at 4PM daily to secure your spot.
Plus, there will also be TWO new photos ops available during this time that will be located in the courtyard next to the stage! One features a cake with tons of iconic Disney characters…
…and the other is inspired by Mickey and Minnie Mouse!
A similar photo opportunity will be coming to Disney Springs for the month of August! You’ll be able to find it next to Disney’s Days of Christmas store and it will feature a QR code that can be scanned for a special surprise.
And, at home be sure to tune into the special Disney Parks challenge on August 20th and other episodes of Disney’s Magic Bake-Off!
