First Look: Toledo Has Reopened at Disney World!

It’s a grand day in Disney World because we’ve got MULTIPLE restaurants reopening!

Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort

But, we’re taking a break from the parks to head over to Disney’s Resorts instead to kick back at a special dining location.

Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood is located in Disney’s Gran Destino Tower at Coronado Springs Resort with its elegant atmosphere and great menu of bites and drinks. And, now it has officially reopened to guests today!

Atmosphere

Toledo has an elegant feel to it, located at the tippy top of Gran Destino Tower.

Welcome back to Toledo!

Just look at the views!

Lovely views at Toledo!

There aren’t too many rooftop dining options in Disney World, so if you’re looking for a chill vibe with spectacular views, check out Toledo on your next visit.

We sat down at our table and began ordering!

Menu

Toledo’s menu had a bit of restructuring to remove separate sections for Pinxtos and Cazuelas. Instead, the menu is broken down like many of the other restaurants around Disney World! The starters have brought back the return of the Flight of Four Pinxtos, the Charred Octopus, and “Aceitunas” Marinated Olives, among others. Plus, there’s even the Chef’s Signature Dinner for Two that allows you to try multiple tapas, an entrée, and dessert for $129.

Toledo has brought back classics from the menu, as well as new eats for everyone to try for their entrées! The Marinated Hanger Steak, Rjoja-braised Chicken, and Chuletòn Bone-in Rib-Eye for Two are just a few options. Various sides can be added to your meal, like Blistered Shishito Peppers, Patatas Bravas, and more.

Despite some of the other changes to the menu, the desserts are the same with the Classic Crema Catalana, Chocolate-Avocado Mousse, ‘Café con Leche’ Choux, and Toledo Tapas Bar!

If you’re looking to pull your kids away from the chicken nuggets and burgers, Toledo has a wide menu of options your kids will even love! Along with the Grilled Chicken Breast, Braised Meatballs, and other entrées available…

…your kids can pick two sides to go along with their meal! There are savory choices like Spanish Rice and Potato Purée, as well as sweet with the Strawberry Mousse Mickey Tart and Fresh Strawberries.

For our visit, we began by ordering a couple of cocktails. We tried the Tequila Daisy, which is made with Don Julio Blanco Tequila, Torres Magdala Naranjas del Mediterráneo, Grapefruit, Lime, Hibiscus and Soda Water for $14, and the Gran Gin and Tonic, which features Tanqueray Gin, House-made Saffron-Orange Tonic, and Soda Water (and happens to be Gran Destino Tower’s signature drink!) for $15.

And, for our meal, we decided to opt for the Chef’s Signature Dinner for Two, which costs $129 and includes a shareable appetizer, charcuterie board, entree, and dessert.

The appetizer is the Flight of Four Pinxtos, which includes Chilled Mussels ‘Escabèche’, Olive Oil-poached Tuna with Lemon, ‘Tortilla Española’ Spanish Potato Omelet, and Valdeón Blue Cheese with Fig and Honey…

…and the charcuterie is the Spaniard For Two. It features two bread options (Sourdough Bread and Sweet Spanish Torta), three cheese options (a Six Month Aged Manchego Cheese, Valdeón Bleu Cheese, and Naked Goat Cheese), and four meats (Lomo ibérico, Jamón Serrano, Chorizo, and Jamón ibérico).

Plus, the Charcuterie also includes Almonds, Fig Jam, Dried Apricots, House-made Pickles and four different kinds of Olives!

The main entree is the Chuletón Bone-In Rib-Eye for Two, which comes with Tomato, Onions, and a choice of two House Sides.

We chose the Brussel Sprouts…

…and Olive Oil-Potato Purée for our sides.

Then it was time for dessert! The Chef’s Signature Dinner for Two came with the ‘The Toledo Tapas Bar’ so that’s what we got! It’s a dessert tasting the flavors of Spanish Coffee, crunchy Chocolate, Raspberry Mousse and Lemon Curd.
