A lot of dining locations have been reopening in Disney World!
Most recently, Disney announced that Pizzafari, Columbia Harbour House, Yachtsman Steakhouse, AND Toledo – Tapas, Steak & Seafood would reopen in the parks and resorts in August and today we’re headed to Disney’s Animal Kingdom to check out the first!
As of August 2nd, Pizzafari has officially reopened in the park! So, guests can once again enjoy many of their favorite Italian-inspired dishes and pizza, though there are a few things missing (and added) to the reopening menu.
For example, you’ll no longer find the Lion King Cupcake (which was a Limited Time Offering), but you will find TWO new Souvenir Specialties. Plus, the Chicken Parmesan Sandwich is a brand new entree option!
Of course, we had to give it all a try!
And, no matter what entree you order up, you’ll still get a Caesar Salad on the side!
As for the dessert menu, that has changed a little bit too! The Cannoli Cake Chocolate and Limited Time Offerings Dark Side Chocolate Creation are no longer available, but it has been replaced with the Spaghetti and Meatball Cupcake.
We wanted to see what a cupcake designed like spaghetti and meatballs looked like, so we ordered that one up too!
Now, one thing to note about the reopened restaurant is that they have not yet brought back the Family-Style Dining Experience that once was offered here. So, you’ll only be able to stop in for a Quick Service meal between 11AM and 3PM daily.
Well, it sure is exciting to have yet another Disney World spot open again! We’ll continue to keep an eye out for more reopening announcements, so be sure to stay tuned to AllEars for the latest!
