There has been a LOT of ground to cover before the final episode of Loki premieres next week. And, that means we’ve been creating our own theories and reaching out to Marvel fans to find out theirs as well!

But, each episode brings its own new set of surprises. And, we’ve given you a look at the hidden details in Episodes One, Two, Three, AND Four! So, it’s only fair that we drop a few clues about the biggest Easter eggs we spotted in Episode Five of Loki too!
Episode Title
This week’s episode “Journey into Mystery” is named after the first Marvel Comic that introduced Thor with Loki to the world. But, the comics were renamed as just “Thor,” since he clearly became the center of attention after his debut.

Still, “Journey into Mystery” didn’t disappear for good because the name was recycled later on as Kid Loki became the new star of the revamped Marvel series.
Thanos Travels in Style
Thanos may be a giant “Mad Titan,” but he hasn’t always needed a massive spaceship. At one point, Thanos actually rode around in a yellow helicopter named the “Thanoscopter” in the comics. The copter was first introduced in a 1979 issue of “Spider-Man” before returning once again with “Deadpool” in 2015.

And, you can only imagine that’s it has become a bit of a joke with Marvel fans to see the Titan who wielded the Infinity Stones riding around in a helicopter! If you take a close look during Episode Five, you can see the crashed Thanoscopter as the Loki Variants enter their hideout together.
Thor… the Frog?
While we’ve seen a whole lot of Loki Variants, it was about time that Thor made an appearance sooner or later. And, we are NOT complaining about the cameo of Throg — the frog God of Thunder. In the comics, Loki turned Thor into a frog as an ongoing joke. This situation specifically took place in issue #365, which is why Throg is in a glass jar that says “T365” in Loki with Mjolnir buried just above him.

We’ve heard the frog joke happen previously in the Marvel Cinematic Universe during Loki’s stage play in Thor: Ragnarok, where the Loki actor talks about the time he turned the Thor actor into a frog once before dying dramatically.
Stark Tower… Well, Kind Of
Since the Void is a little less than cozy, it’s not a surprise to find a destroyed city with clues to worlds that could have been. And, one such disastrous outcome could be seen on Stark Tower, or actually Qeng Tower. On the side of the building, you can find “Qeng” instead of “Stark” written on it as a reference to Qeng Enterprises.

Tony Stark sold the tower to the company during the 2015 issue of the “All-New, All-Different Avengers #1.” But, there’s a bigger clue to Loki‘s villain here than you’d think! The CEO of Qeng is Mr. Gryphon, who is ACTUALLY one of Kang the Conqueror’s many identities. Coincidence? We think not!
Another Ant-Man Clue
Speaking of Kang, we know that the villain will be played by Jonathan Majors in the next Ant-Man and the Wasp film. So, it’s only fitting that we find a giant Yellowjacket helmet as a nod to the villain in the first film.

But, there’s something more sinister afoot, because Yellowjacket also actually betrays the Avengers in the comics to Immortus (which happens to be yet another version of Kang and the Time-Keepers). Marvel, you’re going all out with these clues, aren’t you?
Crashed Spacecrafts Everywhere
There’s an abundance of crashed ships all around the Void, and you might recognize a few! We spotted the Dark Aster, which is Ronan the Accuser’s ship in Guardians of the Galaxy, as well as a Helicarrier from S.H.I.E.L.D.

We even saw a pirate ship that could be a reference to Doctor Doom from the Fantastic Four, who many fans have been hoping to see at some point in the MCU.
The Enchantress Outfit
We’ve already talked about how awesome Sylvie’s outfit is in Loki, but it’s gotten even better! In Episode Five, you can spot the circular pattern that the Enchantress wears in the comics!

Since Sylvie has been introduced as a combination of a Loki Variant and the Enchantress, we love seeing this comic book reference come to life in the show.
What’s Even Going on in the Void?
If the Void is a place where pruned matter goes to, then that means there are a lot of working mechanics to make sure things are either never heard from again or swallowed by the giant cloud monster. The Void is kind of like an entity of its own in the comics as it can actually opt for a realistic form and destroy the universe (just casually). The Void is home to Alioth, which is like a vacuum that swallows Variants and other pruned matter that the TVA is unable to terminate themselves. Classic Loki actually helps break this down further by saying the Void is a shark tank and Alioth is the shark.

Alioth is actually the first being that broke free from time, so it would make sense why maybe Kang the Conqueror (a time traveler) would almost hold him as a pet. Again, Kang has ties to Alioth as they were both featured in the 1993 “Avengers: The Terminatrix Objective #1,” along with Ravonna Renslayer. It’s important to note, though, that the Void is not to be messed with as it has even killed Loki in the comics before he came back as Kid Loki. So, we wouldn’t put it past Marvel to kill off the Loki Variant we’ve been following throughout the show!

However, there may be one thing stopping them from doing so as the Living Tribunal has also been spotted in the void. And, its purpose is to keep balance in the Multiverse.
Kang’s Castle
We’re getting closer and closer to that huge reveal of Loki’s villain! And, the castle featured at the end of Episode Five has some pretty big implications. While some fans have been hoping that it’s Doctor Doom’s home of Doomstadt, there have just been too many hints towards Kang the Conqueror at this point for it NOT to involve the time traveler. Most likely, we have seen Castle Limbo, which is Kang’s home in the Chronopolis from the comics. We’re only a few short days from finding out all the big details in the final episode. But, this clue has us especially excited for the grand finale’s answers!

Of course, we’ll be bringing you all the hidden details and our thoughts from Episode Six when it finally debuts! In the meantime, stay tuned with All Ears for the latest Disney and Marvel entertainment coming soon!
