9 Underrated Universal Orlando Rides You NEED to Go On!

When you’re heading to Universal Orlando, we know you’ve got a running list in your head of your favorite attractions to visit.

Hogwarts

But we recommend taking a break from the most popular attractions in Universal to check out these 9 underrated rides in the parks!

Men in Black: Alien Attack

If you’ve ever wanted to see an alien invasion IRL, then you’re going to want to head over to Men in Black: Alien Attack! The game allows you to blast aliens big and small to rack up some serious points. The actual ride-through itself is longer than Buzz Lightyear’s Space Ranger Spin with more aliens to shoot at, meaning more chances to score. But, Men in Black: Alien Attack is also unique because you can also shoot at other players’ ride vehicles to send them spinning for a little bit of friendly competition!

The queue itself has hidden details too, like the door handles that trigger noises including a suction sound for the Oxygen-Free Zone and an electricity effect at the “Fingerprint Removal” door. But, don’t get TOO distracted before getting on the ride, because you’ll want your game face on in order to get that high score!

E.T. Adventure

We’ve grown up casually hoping that our bike would be to take off and soar across the sky into space after watching E.T. But, the wait is FINALLY over, because now’s your chance to set off on that famous flying bike! When you hop on E.T. Adventure, you’re heading on a journey after the end of the film to go help E.T.’s home planet. After you escape all the government officials trying to stop you on your bike, you’ll travel to another planet to restore everything back to normal.

And, honestly, we might need to pack our bags to move there too with all those beautiful water fountains and lush greenery. At the end of the attraction, E.T. will even say goodbye to you by name, using the one you provided to a Cast Member in the queue!

Seuss Highway in the Sky

WARNING: This ride is for people who love hidden gems and secrets! Sooo, basically everyone, that means. The High in the Sky Seuss Trolley Train Ride traverses through the tops of the stores and restaurants in Seuss Landing to reveal hidden scenes unavailable to the public eye! And, you can only find them if you go on the attraction, which makes it all the more exciting that you know about the invisible scenes in the area.

And, after you go on it, let us know which scene is your favorite!

One Fish, Two Fish

Kids’ rides might seem like they are a little on the tame side, but One Fish, Two Fish, Red Fish, Blue Fish has a bit of a catch. The attraction is actually a game where you have to follow the narrator’s instructions to move up or down. And, if you don’t do it, you get splashed with water!

It’s a blast for everyone who rides the attraction, no matter what age you are. Plus, you can even move incorrectly on purpose for a splash of water on a hot summer day!

Fast and Furious: Supercharged

You may have heard the saying “Family Forever,” and let us just say that Fast and Furious: Supercharged will a part of OUR hearts forever. The premise of the attraction can be a bit cheesy at times (like Vin Diesel jumping out of a plane and landing on a car safely), but that’s the whole appeal. The surrounding screens that your vehicle goes through make you feel like you’re in the center of the action. And, might we say, a part of the family too!

Fast and Furious

Okay, so who’s heading with us to Universal Orlando to ride it during our next visit??

Flight of the Hippogriff

Universal Orlando has some SERIOUS roller coasters. But, some people aren’t great fits with the biggest and baddest coasters around the park, whether they get motion sick or they don’t fit the height requirement. And, the Flight of the Hippogriff packs the thrills still, no matter what visitor you are in the Wizarding World of Harry Potter!

Flight of the Hippogriff

The smooth coaster gives you great views of Hogsmeade as you even get to see Buckbeak chilling on the ride to greet guests. Just be sure to bow to him first  — we don’t need another Draco incident!

Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges

Stop what you’re doing, and head over to Popeye and Bluto’s Bilge-Rat Barges! This river rapids ride is nothing short of a BLAST as guests are thrown around the rapids. You’ll definitely get soaked, but plenty of hilarious gags make the wet clothes and shoes worth it. We recommend taking a rain poncho and flip flops with you, though, to avoid being completely soaked.

Popeye’s

That’s not the only water ride on this list, though…

Dudley Do-Right’s Ripsaw Falls

Dudley Do-Right’s on his next adventure, and you’re coming along with him! The water ride is similar to Splash Mountain with plenty of drops and that BIG finish that has a double drop. Ripsaw Falls could totally use some TLC, but the premise is pretty adorable, considering the fact that Dudley doesn’t technically get the girl in the end (you’ll see what we mean).

Guests can even shoot extra water at people on the attraction! Of course, you’ll probably get wet on Ripsaw Falls too, which is a real treat during the sunniest days in Universal Orlando.

Caro-Seuss-el

It may seem strange that the Caro-Seuss-el is on this list, but it’s too much fun to skip out on! The regular horses you’d see in Disney Parks have been swapped for Dr. Seuss characters, making it one of the most vibrant and adorable carousels we’ve ever seen. Just do yourself a favor and ride it once for yourself!

Caroseussel

Once you head on these underrated attractions, you may even place them on your must-do list the next time you’re in Universal Orlando! We can’t recommend trying new things in the parks enough.
