This year, PBS is hosting A Capitol Fourth, a Washington, D.C.-based televised concert celebrating the Fourth of July!
Recently, PBS announced that they’re adding a little bit of green to this celebration of the red, white, and blue!
Recently, Kermit the Frog was added to the set for the PBS celebration of America’s birthday!
Other notable performers include Christopher Jackson, a star of stage and screen best known for his roles as George Washington in Hamilton and Benny in the stage version of In the Heights.
Auli’i Cravalho, best known for her performance as Moana in the film of the same name, will also be performing for A Capitol Fourth!
Other notable performers include Gladys Knight, Jimmy Buffet, and Pentatonix! You can catch the show on your local PBS station on July 4th at 8PM/7PM Central!
