With more hotels and restaurants reopening in Disney World and fireworks returning to the parks soon, everything is starting to look a bit more “normal.”
Casey’s Corner has been closed since Magic Kingdom reopened last year and many Disney-goers have been wondering when they might get to eat hot dogs on Main Street, U.S.A. again. And, the answer may be soon, as the menu received a few updates today!
Let’s take a look at what’s different!
At the top of the menu, you can find Specialty Beverages, but there’s one that is no longer there — the Mickey Celebration Sipper. This souvenir cup came to the parks for Mickey’s 90th birthday celebrations but now you’ll only find the Frozen Mint Julep Lemonade, which comes with a souvenir Mickey Straw.
On the Entree menu, you’ll notice that the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese All-Beef Hot Dog is no longer on the menu and a new All-Beef Foot-long Hot Dog has been added.
Plus, all of the entrees are now served with a choice of French Fries or Cuties Mandarin instead of Apple Slices and the All-Beef Hot Dog will only cost you $9.49 instead of the previous $9.99.
And, it looks like the rest of the bacon and macaroni dishes won’t be around any longer as well — the Bacon Macaroni & Cheese French Fries are now off the Sides menu. Though you’ll now be able to order a 3-pack side of Cuties Mandarin.
As for the drinks menu, guests will now only have the choice of one size for fountain beverages and coffee fans will find new Freshly Brewed Joffrey’s Coffee.
So, the updates aren’t huge by any means — but, hey, it’s something! Could this mean that we’re getting close to the reopening of Casey’s Corner? Well, we sure hope so — but for now, there have been no updates from Disney. Of course, we’ll continue to keep an eye out for more information, so stay tuned!
