Every once in a while, guests may spot a few unexpected changes to a ride or attraction while maintenance work is being done.
When we hopped in line for Millennium Falcon: Smugglers Run at Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge today, we noticed something pretty noticeable was missing!
Hondo Ohnaka himself was missing from the ride’s pre-show today!
We noticed Hondo on the screen instead when we first walked into the room, but then he vanished altogether!
His equipment was wrapped up as well — maybe he was taking a trip somewhere? We did not notice any audio playing as well, so for now this is just a regular room that guests pass through with no pre-show elements.
But that’s not all! Lieutenant Bek was also missing from the end of Rise of the Resistance!
It’s interesting to see not one, but two key animatronics missing from Galaxy’s Edge today!
We’ll keep an eye on Smugglers Run and Rise of the Resistance in the coming days and we will let you know if we learn about their return!
