This morning, we shared the news that Tusker House Restaurant will reopen at Disney’s Animal Kingdom on June 20th, with all of our favorite safari characters included!

We’re now getting a first look at the family-style menu that will be included with your next visit to Tusker House.
Like other Disney World locations that were traditionally buffets before the closure, Tusker House has converted its menu to a family-style dining experience.

Breakfast has a prix-fixe price of $42 per adult and $27 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Breakfast will include a Pastries Basket, which includes Safari Bread, multigrain Croissants and Cornbread served with Whipped Butter, Nutella, and Strawberry Preserves. Breakfast will also include Fresh Fruit with Honey Yogurt Sauce.

Then it’s time for the main course! The Breakfast Platter will include Potatoes, Scrambled Eggs, Mickey and Simba-shaped Waffles, Bacon, Sausage, Durban Chicken-Egg Curry with Jasmine Rice.

Lunch and dinner will have a prix-fixe cost of $55 per adult and $42 per child, plus tax and gratuity. Lunch and dinner begin with Assorted House-made Breads and African-inspired Salads. For your entree, you will receive an assortment of proteins like Moroccan Spiced Beef, Cape Malay Green Curry Shrimp, Spit-Roasted Herb Chicken, and Berber Marinated Pork.

Sides include Green Beans with Carrots and Corn, Roasted Potatoes, Jasmine Rice, and House-made Macaroni and Cheese. And for dessert, you can dine on Animal Inspired Mini Desserts!

There will also be an assortment of cocktails and mocktails, as well as beer, hard cider, and hard seltzer.

We’re looking forward to checking out another restaurant that, like Chef Mickey’s and Garden Grill, have featured family-style character dining since the theme parks reopened last summer! Be sure to follow along as we continue to cover the grand reopening of Tusker House at Disney’s Animal Kingdom — remember that reservations for Tusker House will become available on Friday, June 4th!

Will the breakfast still have unlimited jungle juice?
I’ve eaten at Tusker house 4-5 times. The food was always hot & very tasty. I have photos with Donald & a few other characters. I was very disappointed when I went last year & saw they were closed
