We’ve been keeping a close eye on progress over at Disney’s new hotel, Star Wars: Galactic Starcruiser.

Once open, guests will board the Halcyon starcruiser and go off on a 2-night adventure to a galaxy far, far away, making time for a pit-stop on the planet of Batuu. Disney has released more information about what guests can find on the ship (like a REAL lightsaber), and now we’ve got another look at the construction progress!
Thanks to bioreconstruct on Twitter (@bioreconstruct), we got an aerial view of the hotel and other areas that guests will travel during their stay! Here, you can see that those trees Disney planted in the terminal area are starting to grow quite a bit since we last checked in.

And, on the other side, you can see just how long this hotel really is!

When you zoom in on the building just a bit, you can also see the area where the transport ships (aka buses) will park to take guests between Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge at Disney’s Hollywood Studios and the hotel.

And, over at Disney’s Hollywood Studios, you can check out the construction there! Guests staying at the Galactic Starcruiser hotel will have special access to an entrance directly into Star Wars: Galaxy’s Edge, and this is what the drop-off area is looking like!

Here’s what that area looks like inside the park… .

Disney has announced that the opening of the hotel has been delayed, but it is planned to debut sometime in 2022. We will continue to keep an eye out for updates and construction progress, so stay tuned for the latest!
