Turn on Disney+ for This New Pixar-Themed Workout!

Over the past year, many of us have turned to at home workouts.

And, if you’re going to workout at home, you might as well watch some Disney content, right?

We’ve trained like a beast, tried a Tangled inspired workout, and toned up with Tiana, but we’ve got a new Disney spin on workouts to try. The new Official Medical Provider of runDisney, AdventHealth, suggested a Pixar-themed workout. Are you in?

Warm Up

The best way to start any workout is by warming up those muscles. Try a Pixar short or two before you run. AdventHealth recommends 10 minutes of warm up stretches and exercises pre-workout. Pair Piper and Dug’s Special Mission for the perfect animal lover’s warm up.

Light Run

Maybe you’re that go-getter who runs every day. Maybe you’re training for a 5K. Either way, there’s Pixar content for those 30 minute runs. Try out A Celebration of the Music From Coco with your next light run. At a run time of 47 minutes, it’s great if you want to go the extra mile…apologies if puns make you un poco loco!

Longer Distance Runs

Longer races require longer training sessions. To prepare for a longer distance race, try out a Pixar movie. There’s so many great ones to choose from, but we’re happy to give our suggestions! The jazz tunes of Soul will soothe and inspire you for your big run. Maybe you’d rather go for a classic like Toy Story. With all 4 Toy Story films available on Disney+,  you’re ready for your next several long distance runs!
