Universal Orlando‘s newest thrill is HERE! The brand new Velocicoaster opened this weekend, and Molly is headed to check it out.

This Jurassic Park-themed ride features a 155 ft. peak, a hanging inversion, and uh…REAL velociraptors?! in the queue. But is it worth all the hype? Only one way to find out — go on a Raptor Run. What could go wrong?

Soft open today, Saturday, started about 930am! Team members let us congregate on the JP watering hole pathway starting at park open. App reported VC was open with wait times 5-10″ sporadically starting at 8am before it really opened with a 45″ wait. So watch the app! We thought it might go virtual line but not today (and neither did Hagrid today).
Incredibly, IOA had the single rider line open and running! About 10-15″ less wait time for singles line. Be aware the line for this is only 3ft spacing and no skipped lanes. That will take some getting used to again.
We are coaster freaks and loved it. Absolutely agree it is worth the hype!
This is a spin-off of “Molly’s Eating” called “Molly Gets Eaten”
Yeah!!! I am not riding the Velocicoaster!!!!!! I do not think getting sick to my stomach and scared out of my mind makes a fun thrill ride!!!!!
