There have been a lot of changes to COVID-19 policies in Florida recently.
Last month the Florida Governor signed an executive order banning local governments and businesses from requiring a vaccine passport for service and, yesterday he signed another order suspending all local government COVID-19 restrictions in the state. And, in light of the updates, the Orlando International Airport has clarified its mask mandates for travelers.
According to the Greater Orlando Aviation Authority, travelers are still required to wear face masks at the Orlando International Airport.
The requirement remains in effect at the airport due to the federal mask mandate that began at the end of January this year. The TSA (Transportation Security Administration) recently extended this mandate through September 13th, 2021, so those traveling through the airport will still need to wear face masks through the fall.
