The Disney Cruise Line has been working to return to sea after over one year since global health crisis put a halt to their departures.

Currently, Disney has canceled most cruises departing from the U.S. and England through September, but the Disney Magic will be returning this summer for a unique new experience. Disney recently announced that they would be introducing “staycations” aboard the Disney Magic that is exclusive to UK Residents and we now have more information on when these sailings will occur and how to book them!
Beginning in June, the Disney Magic will set sail on 2, 3, and 4-night cruises that will depart on select dates from London Tilbury, Newcastle, Liverpool, and Southampton. The “staycations” will leave from the ports and stay at sea, not docking in any other locations for the duration of the cruise. And, Disney has released all of the dates and itineraries for the cruises this summer.
“Staycation” Cruise Dates & Itineraries
Update: For a period of time, the itineraries were removed from the Disney Cruise Line website. They are now back on the website and appear to have been updated. Below is the latest information that appears on the website as of April 19th.
The “staycations” that depart from London Tilbury, England and will feature 2- and 3- night cruise itineraries in September and October. Here’s a look at the itineraries. Keep in mind these are subject to change.

Select “staycations” will also depart from Newcastle, England and will feature 2- and 3 night itineraries. Here’s a look at those itineraries.

From Liverpool, England the Disney Magic will set sail for 2-, 3-, and limited 4-night cruises. Here’s a look at those itineraries.

The final location that the Disney Magic will depart from is Southhampton, England. The itineraries include 2-, 3-, and 4-night cruises. Here’s a look at those itineraries.

How To Book a “Staycation”
Bookings for the limited number of “staycations” aboard the Disney Magic will begin later this month on April 30th. And, select membership groups will have the opportunity to book their cruise before it opens to the general public. Platinum Castaway Club members can begin booking on April 28th, Gold Members can begin on April 28th, and Silver members can begin on April 29th.

Golden Oak Club Members also can book their cruise early beginning April 28th. And, Disney Vacation Club Members and Adventures by Disney Insiders can book early beginning on April 29th.

The website now also lists various activities guests can expect on the ship, like entertainment and character interactions.

When we visited the Liverpool port page on the Disney Cruise Line website, we were also able to view some important arrival information for these adventures. Note that it specifies that guests who arrive at the port must complete a Rapid COVID-19 test. Once that guest and their party tests negative, they can then board the ship.
