It is relatively common to see rides and attractions in Disney World go down for routine maintenance throughout the year; however, it is less common when dining locations close for refurbishments.

While restaurant refurbishments don’t happen as frequently, they do happen, so that’s why we’re bringing some important information to you if you have upcoming plans to visit EPCOT!
We were just able to confirm through conversations with Cast Members that the Rose & Crown Dining Room in World Showcase will be closing for refurbishment starting on Monday, February 15th.

The Cast Member we spoke to said that the refurbishment is scheduled to continue through March 21st. Keep in mind, however, that refurbishment calendars are always subject to change. They also informed us that the reason for the refurbishment is due to project work that will require the kitchen to close.

UPDATE: The Disney website has updated and confirmed the refurbishment start date of February 15th.

Keep in mind that this refurbishment specifically includes the Rose & Crown Dining Room — at this time, the Rose & Crown Pub will remain open. Guests can also visit Yorkshire County Fish Shop if they are looking to dine in the UK Pavilion.

We’ll keep a close watch on Rose & Crown Dining Room in the coming weeks as its refurbishment work begins!

Have eaten there many times. While the food is always “so so,” it is one of the very best viewing sites for the evening show.
