So, let’s be honest: a lot of us aren’t eating out right now, and recent events have delayed many of the ongoing projects at Walt Disney World. However, now that a new year is upon us, it’s time to look toward the delicious, delicious future.

Four new restaurants are opening in the World in 2021 — some a little late, but all promising to be delicious. Let’s take a look at what to expect in the new year!
Space 220
In space, no one can hear you chew.

This ambitious theme restaurant was originally set to open at EPCOT in 2020, but restrictions on public dining put everything on hold. Themed to a space station 220 miles above Earth, this cosmic café serves modern American cuisine with a space age feel. Guests will ride a simulated space elevator before being treated to gorgeous views of the Earth below through state of the art video windows. We expect Space 220 will open at some point in 2021, and some construction walls recently came down, giving us even more hope.
Roundup Rodeo BBQ

Over at Hollywood Studios, Toy Story Land has been an amazing addition to the park, but a lack of Table Service has been a glaring oversight. Disney aims to rectify this with the Roundup Rodeo BBQ, a colorful western playset with some unique touches only Andy’s imagination could create.

The menu, as you might expect, will be Western inspired, with plenty of BBQ and probably a few playful touches.
La Creperie de Paris

Returning to EPCOT, the France Pavilion has no shortage of cuisine. However, a ride based on Ratatouille would be incomplete without some new food to munch on. With a menu designed by Jérôme Bocuse (who is responsible for the pavilion’s other restaurants), La Creperie will serve as an intermediate dining option, with Quick and Table Service options… and of course, plenty of crepes!
Beatrix

Billing itself as a neighborhood meeting spot with a healthy twist, Beatrix offers fresh squeezed juice cocktails, freshly roasted coffee, and plenty of gourmet meals with a fresh and healthy twist. But don’t expect a menu made of salads and unidentifiable green beverages; Beatrix offers delectable fare like burgers, short ribs, and gourmet pancakes. Beatrix is set to open in Disney Springs in early 2021, though construction delays could impact that timeline.
