Let’s face it, one of the best things about visiting Walt Disney World is all the fun souvenirs to choose from!

You can find some of the coolest merchandise at the theme parks, and Disney is constantly churning out new, awesome gear. You can take home mementos that range from a Cinderella Castle model covered in Swarovski Crystals to Baby Yoda animatronics. Sometimes, though, you might want to spend your Disney savings on other experiences like dining at a Signature restaurant or staying at a Deluxe Resort.
We created a list of some of the least expensive souvenirs at Disney World so you can stay on budget.
Scavenger Hunt Prizes
Disney World will often host scavenger hunts throughout the year. The most popular scavenger hunts occur during EPCOT’s four festivals. Guests purchase a scavenger hunt map and stickers for $9.99. Then, they set out to find all the hidden images or works of art around World Showcase. Once the hunt is finished, return the map to one of the redemption locations to pick a small prize! We’ve seen prizes consist of festival tumblers, ornaments, and themed cups.
The Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak Scavenger Hunt at EPCOT’s Food & Wine Festival entices participants to voyage around World Showcase to find hidden statues of our favorite little chef!

Glow Cubes and Souvenir Straws
You can get two Disney goodies for the price of one with souvenir glow cubes! Disney will sell specialty cocktails and pop in a free glow cube (well, okay, the price is probably built in) for an extra touch. We’ve seen glow cubes added to seasonal drinks and to permanent cocktails like the Magical Star Cocktail from 50s Prime Time Cafe. We should also mention that you can find fun souvenir straws at some of the snack carts around Disney World, too. The straws usually start around $4.25 and come with dangling keychains or other figures!

Pressed Pennies
We have to admit, we LOVE pressed pennies. You can find pressed penny machines in every park and most Disney World resorts. Make it a fun scavenger hunt and try to find a machine in every location you visit! The machines print pennies in a variety of designs and characters. Most of the prints are unique to the location in the theme park or the resort theme. Oh, and they only cost 51 cents! You can buy a Disney World Pressed Penny book to display all your treasures, too.

Note: You may come across pressed penny machines that take both cash and card nowadays. These tend to cost more (a dollar), and the pennies are preloaded in the machines.
Celebration Pins
Okay, 51 cents is pretty cheap, but there’s another souvenir that’s even cheaper than that! You may or may not know about the FREE celebration pins that guests can pick up at any theme park. You have a choice between designs that say “First Visit,” “Happy Birthday,” “Happily Ever After,” and an “I’m Celebrating” pin that you can customize for your special visit! Cast Members can write your name or reason for your vacation on the pin. You’ll get lots of attention when wearing your pin at Disney World!

Small Keepsakes
“Small keepsakes” means just about everything you find on a spinning keychain rack at the gift shops! These racks hold a lot of compact items that are unique to Disney and don’t cost a fortune. And there’s SO much to choose from! A few of our favorites are magnets, keychains, character pencils, and antenna toppers. Disney also recently started making adorable hand sanitizer keychains that you can attach to your park bags. All these items are relatively low-cost, come in a big variety of designs, and are uniquely Disney!

Disney Pins
Pins definitely need their own category for Disney souvenirs! There are hundreds of Disney pins available to purchase at any given time of year. The pins are usually only offered for a limited time before they are switched out with newer pins. The designs can range from 90s television shows like Chip ‘n’ Dale Rescue Rangers to an inordinate supply of Baby Yoda beauties. And the fun really starts when you start trading them with Cast Members and other Disney fans! Pins are fantastic and unique souvenirs that will commemorate your visit to Disney World.
Light-Up Souvenirs
You’ll sometimes see Cast Members wheeling down carts full of glow merchandise at night. The items include light-up wands, glow necklaces, and more! These are fun souvenirs that you can play with when the sun goes down and take home for your own glow party. During the day, you can make your own magic with bubble wands and new this year are personal snoap machines!

Disney Mugs
Oh, we LOVE Disney mugs. Much like the pins, there are so many to choose from and they’re so easy to collect! It seems like every week Disney is releasing another new and adorable cup to tempt us with. The mugs start at $14.99 and come in a variety of shapes, sizes, and Disney designs. It’s fairly easy to get your money’s worth because you can use your special Disney mug all year round! We especially dig the Starbucks Tumblers inspired by Disney Parks. These are sturdy, hot beverage containers that are loaded with theme park images to remind you of your trip!
Postcards
How fun is it to send a souvenir postcard to your loved ones at home? Some guests make it a tradition and will send cards from the Magic Kingdom mailboxes located on Main Street, USA. We also think the postcards are a great collector item since they come in seasonal designs at a relatively low cost. While we’re on the subject, did you know you can send a letter to Santa from Disney World? Head to the Ye Olde Christmas Shoppe to find the mailbox and supplies. Your kiddos can mail their letter here, or, take home the stationery as a free souvenir!

These are just a handful of inexpensive souvenirs around Disney World. You’ll find all sorts of hidden treasures in the gift shops around the parks. Plus, the most important part of a Disney vacation are the memories you make. So, even if you come home with one pressed penny, you’ll have the memory of making it at Disney World!
