As Disney World welcomes the beginning of 2021, Park Hopping has also returned back in each of the four parks!

While the system has been modified with shortened hours compared to the past, we’ve made our way around Disney World to check out how the parks are different with the new updates. One major question that Disney still hadn’t answered going into today, though, was how many parks can you visit in a day?
While Disney had not revealed whether you would be able to visit multiple parks, or just one, after checking in at your original park, we have been able to visit multiple parks after checking into our original park. In fact, you can park hop to all four parks in one day, depending on capacity.

The way that Park Hopping works now is that you must have a Disney Park Pass reservation already in place at one park. You must check into that park first, prior to being able to hop to another park after 2PM.

With parks still operating at limited capacity, you are able to check that the park you wish to hop to is available by calling the Disney World capacity number at 407-560-5000, or asking a Cast Member.

We were able to check-in at more than one park, going from Disney’s Animal Kingdom to Disney’s Hollywood Studios and then EPCOT.

We were even able to scan into our second park of the day a bit early, and were told by a Cast Member you should be able to check in about 10 to 15 minutes early.

Now that park-to-park transportation has returned, it’s a bit easier to actually make your way around the property during Park Hopping hours.

Thank you for answering all my questions! I checked the Disney site, but even then I wasn’t sure I understood correctly how the Park Hopping was supposed to work. Thank you for making it crystal clear!! :o)
