We absolutely adore the holiday decorations at Disney World resorts!
From resorts with huge trees like the Grand Floridian, to aquatic themed garland at Caribbean Beach Resort, there are so many unique things about the festive decor in resorts. But now, we may have found our favorite holiday decorations of the season, and they weren’t created by Disney!
Over at The Campsites at Disney’s Fort Wilderness Resort, guests can decorate their own campgrounds! And on our latest visit, we found some pretty amazing displays. This one has a lot of Disney going on! Not only is there a tree, a candy cane archway, and a penguin, but we spot Hank from Finding Dory, and several Disney plushes in the window!
This camp had a simple but festive Mickey and Minnie with their tree and some gifts. Too cute!
Possibly our favorite from the campsites, we found the Hitchhiking Ghosts from The Haunted Mansion! They are still trying to hitch a ride home with us, but now they are doing it in style with Santa hats and red and white ribbon.
One camp had a little covered area that almost looks like a living room! There’s a toy set, a tree, and we spy Winnie the Pooh hanging around in the fireplace.
And this camp had a couple of inflatable Mickeys, along with Santa and some bright candy canes and peppermint candies.
Wow! How creative are these decorations? We enjoy visiting the campsites every holiday season just to see these awesome holiday lights and figures. We’ll continue to keep you updated on the latest Disney fun!
