Since Disney parks and experiences have reopened around the world, Disney has put several health and safety measures in place.
Although temperature screenings, masks, and social distancing are required, Disney still tries to make guests’ experiences as fun and magical as possible. Disneyland Resort just launched a new health and safety campaign with some fan favorite Pixar characters!
The “Together We Can Be Incredible” public service awareness campaign was created to encourage residents of Orange County and Los Angeles County specifically to follow the health and safety guidelines for the area and help protect their community. The campaign features characters from the movie The Incredibles while they share tips on how to be safe.
The campaign will reach several platforms including radio, television, billboards, social media content, and more over the next few weeks.
Dr. Pamela Hymel, the chief medical officer for Disney Parks, Experiences, and Products, said “The campaign emphasizes important health and safety measures, including physical distancing, face coverings, hand washing and more, and leverages each character’s personality to bring the messages directly to our local communities in a dynamic way.”
First we have Edna Mode reminding everyone to wear a face covering “dahling.”
Dash is sprinting to go wash his hands, and reminding us that it’s super.
And Elastigirl is encouraging physical distancing with incredibly stretchy arms.
Disney even created a video for The Incredibles-based campaign, and you can watch it below!
