PHOTOS! Check Out the NEW Spider-Bots and Avengers Campus Merch at Disneyland!

Our spidey senses are tingling. That must mean that the new Spider-Bots are nearby!

Disneyland Resort is mostly closed with the exception of Downtown Disney, the Backlot Premiere Shop, and Buena Vista Street for shopping and dining. While closed, construction for the Avengers Campus is well underway. The campus was set to open last summer but has since been delayed due to the park’s closure. While the new land hasn’t debuted yet, Disney has released some NEW merchandise inspired by the Avengers Campus and we just got a first look!

Disney announced the conception of Spider-Bots in March of this year. The bots first appeared in The Superior Spider-Man series and will also be featured in the new ride in the Avengers Campus, Web Slingers: A Spider-Man Adventure. Let’s take a look at our new robot friends!

The Spider-Bots can move on their own and even battle other bots! We were told that when one loses, their head pops off! Unfortunately, we couldn’t see this awesome (and hilarious) display in action. The Spider-Bots cost $79.99.

The Cast Member told us that once the Avengers Campus opens, there will be optional add-ons for your Spider-Bot and more robots inspired by films like Black Panther and Iron-Man. At the shopping event, there was additional Avengers merchandise available like t-shirts…

…Spider-Man patches…

…and a Guardians of the Galaxy reusable straw.

The AP Preview begins today and lasts through December 3rd. All of the merchandise will be available to the public on Friday, December 4th at World of Disney and the Backlot Premiere Shop!
