Believe it or not, Rise of the Resistance in Disney World is not even a year old yet!
While the past year might have been very different for Disney, there were still some amazing new rides brought out, including Rise and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railways. And we aren’t the only ones that love these innovative rides, because they both just won awards!
Both Rise of the Resistance and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railways were among the winners of the Themed Entertainment Thea Awards!
The recipients at the 26th Annual TEA Thea Awards represent “excellence, innovation, and leadership in the creation of compelling places and experiences,” said TEA International Board President Michael Blau of Adirondack Studios.
Among the recipients were Rise of the Resistance at both Disney’s Hollywood Studios and Disneyland Park, and Mickey and Minnie’s Runaway Railway at Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
