Although theme parks have started to open again to guests, sports arenas have also been welcoming fans back to watch live games.

While the NBA has played in a bubble in Disney World, the NFL has been holding games in stadiums with reduced crowds. However, now that Florida has moved into Phase Three across the state, sports venues could also see some major differences soon.
According to Microsoft News (MSN), radio host Andy Slater has reported that Florida Governor Ron DeSantis has given the Miami Dolphins clearance to have full-capacity crowds in the Hard Rock Stadium.

At this time, the Miami Dolphins will currently host reduced crowds of 13,000 people for their next October 25th home game instead. However, if the Dolphins move forward with the governor’s proposal, the stadium could eventually be filled with 65,000 people.
DeSantis’ spokesperson follows up with me wanting to make it clear that after the governor recently dropped COVID-19 restrictions, all Florida stadiums were able to go to full capacity.

The NFL has let each team dictate their crowd sizes on “a case-by-case basis.” Although, the stadiums are still following health and safety precautions by making masks still mandatory for guests in attendance at games. While the Dolphins haven’t released details on whether they plan to increase attendance to full capacity, we will continue to keep you updated!
