If we had to guess, most of you Harry Potter fans out there have taken the house sorting quiz to be POSITIVE which Hogwarts common room you’d be chilling out in during the school year.

And, since Muggle school has already kicked off its semester, it’s only fitting we take a moment to honor the Hogwarts year! While there will be an entire virtual event celebrating the return to the coolest school in the Wizarding World, you can meet some of your new classmates a little bit early.

Even though Build-A-Bear has been bringing us cuties like the Stitch and Baby Yoda Plushes, we’re taking a trip to the Wizarding World with the new Harry Potter Build-A-Bear Plushes too!

Although Hogwarts students would normally depart Platform 9 ¾ at King’s Cross Station on September 1st (and have that EPIC welcome back feast that night), September 2nd is the official day Divination, Defense Against the Arts, and other classes would begin. So, it only seems fitting that the next generation of Hogwarts students would be able to take home the Build-A-Bear line when classes start on September 2nd too!

When the collection appears online, the bears will have the Harry Potter logo, Hogwarts crest, golden paws, and outfits for their respective houses! Whether you’re a Gryffindor, Slytherin, Ravenclaw or Hufflepuff, your bear can wear robes, scarves, sweaters, ties, uniforms, and even tote around a wand!

Jennifer Kretchmar, who is the Chief Digital & Merchandising Officer for Build-A-Bear, has also stated that there is “more magical clothing and accessories to come.” And, we already want it ALL! The collection will also be making its way to stores later this fall, so you can experience the magic in person.

We are absolutely THRILLED to snuggle up with our own magical creature before heading back to Universal Orlando to ride Hagrid’s Magical Creatures Motorbike Adventure! And, we’ll keep an eye out for the rest of the details about the new Harry Potter Build-A-Bear Collection to share with you.
