The NBA has been playing the remainder of the basketball season at Walt Disney World.
Over the past day, a few teams had voted to strike in protest of the shooting of Jacob Blake in Wisconsin, after the Milwaukee Bucks boycotted Game 5 yesterday, leading to the postponement of all three playoff games set for the day. Today, NBA referees planned to walk together inside the NBA bubble at Walt Disney World as a form of peaceful protest in support of the strike.
A tweet from ESPN Reporter,Cassidy Hubbarth shows the referees beginning their march at Disney’s Coronado Springs Resort this morning. The referees are wearing statement t-shirts and walking quietly in succession.
