As we’re riding all the newly re-opened Disney Transportation in the parks, we’ve made sure to update you on how all they would be operating going back and forth between the resorts and parks.

On top of Disney transportation, we’ve all been looking at the construction happening around Disney World! Although we’ve gotten a look at projects like the France Pavilion and the TRON Coaster, there’s a new ride AND transportation method that might be coming to Disney World soon!

Attractions Magazine gave a first look at a Disney book that will be released on September 15th. And, although The Disney Monorail: Imagineering a Highway in the Sky will talk about the history and transformation of the Monorail, the book has also hinted at a new monorail-themed attraction coming to EPCOT’s PLAY! Pavilion!

While we’ve given you an update on the PLAY! Pavilion’s recent construction, the new area of the EPCOT Transformation will be an interactive place for guests to step inside a “digital city.” However, the book also states that there could be a “Monorail Mark X” coming to the park in 2021 according to a poster that has the “PLAY!” logo and graphic.

When The Disney Monorail: Imagineering a Highway in the Sky written by Jeff Kurtti, Vanessa Hunt, and Pal Wolski comes out in September, we’ll be sure to check out any more hints and details about upcoming projects in Disney World!
