Although there have been some pretty awesome experiences in the parks (AKA Pooh with his butterfly net), Disney World is an entirely new place now that it has officially reopened.
While Disney has limited its capacity, the parks have seen less people than previously expected according to their Quarterly Earnings Report. Since the crowd levels are low, Disney World will also be shortening its hours even more on September 8th.
Next month, the parks will change their hours to a schedule of 9AM to 6PM in Magic Kingdom, 11AM to 7PM in EPCOT, 9AM to 5PM in Disney’s Animal Kingdom, and 10AM to 7PM in Disney’s Hollywood Studios.
However, since the hours are even shorter than before, many guests have been wondering what would happen to their previous dining reservations that are now scheduled after the new park closures. But, the good news is that some restaurants in Disney World will remain open past the updated closing time.
A Cast Member told us online that places like Tiffins and Le Cellier would stay open after closures, while Be Our Guest and 50’s Prime Time Cafe wouldn’t be extending their hours. However, we did see open reservations at 50’s Prime Time Cafe after the 7PM closure at Hollywood Studios.
Although Disney may change the availability of different restaurants as the park hours shift, we think it’s important to keep checking the My Disney Experience app and the Disney World website. If you have questions about your reservation or making a new one, Disney Cast Members are available to answer questions that you may have about your upcoming trip to the parks.
Although we’ll continue to give you a look at what the parks are like in Disney World, let us know any questions you may have about your upcoming vacations so we can help find you the answers!

Disney canceled my existing Tiffin’s reservation as it was scheduled after the new closing time for Animal Kingdom. To flip flop and allow reservations after canceling existing reservations does not sit well with me.
I would be pretty disappointed if Disney extended Le Cellier because they cancelled our resi and now I look out there and there’s nothing after closing. Now perhaps they haven’t opened up extended dining for Le Cellier and hopefully they will reach out to those they’ve canceled, but c’est la vie.
