The Disney Parks have been doing everything they can to update their health and safety policies in order to protect guests and Cast Members during this time.
Since everyone is required to wear face masks when they are visiting Disney World, the policies surrounding coverings have been modified to reflect new guidelines in the parks. Now, Disneyland is following suit.
Similar to Disney World’s procedures, Disneyland has also updated its face mask policy to state that coverings with valves, mesh material, or holes are not acceptable in a newly re-opened Downtown Disney.
While face coverings with holes, mesh, or valves aren’t allowed, open-chin triangle bandanas and neck gaiters are also unable to be worn when guests are visiting Disneyland.
However, there are plenty of masks that are great to wear when you’re riding your favorite attractions or exploring the parks! While you can put on a Disney Character Face Mask, you can even make new masks decorated with all sorts of characters and fun designs too!
As Disney continues to update its health and safety procedures, we’ll give you all the information that you need to know before your next vacation!
