“It’s time to play the music! It’s time to light the lights! It’s time to meet the Muppets on Muppets Now tonight” (well, this summer actually)!

We’ve been anxiously awaiting all the exciting Disney shows and movies coming to Disney+ this June. BUT, there’s something else to look forward to (and it has wacky and chaotic written all over it).

While “Muppets Now” was previously announced as premiering this summer, now we’ve got an official date! The new Muppets series will be making its way to Disney+ on July 31st with all your favorite friends making an appearance.

The six-episode season will surround Scooter as he tries to make delivery deadlines and upload the new Muppet series content to be streamed. But, like all the Muppets’ adventures we’ve seen so far, he’s going to see some wild obstacles get in his way. He’ll also meet a few friends along the way that might help him (or not) in getting the series uploaded!

And, of course, it wouldn’t be the Muppets without a little mayhem! After Disney announced the arrival of the series, the muppets took to the Twitter thread to give their opinions on what the key art should have been for the show! Gonzo thinks there should have been more lava spider (which we are VERY curious to see)…

…while Pepé is offended he wasn’t featured more heavily in the key art for the show!
