Due to the recent closures, Disney World furloughed several non-union employees — which will take effect April 19th.

Multiple unions have come to agreements with Disney regarding furloughs, including the Service Trades Council Union, American Federation of Musicians Local 389, and the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2088. Now the Actors’ Equity Association will also be added to the list of agreements.
Starting April 19th, Disney World entertainers and actors will be furloughed in a new agreement between Disney and the Actors’ Equity Association, according to the Orlando Sentinel.
