Disney Adds Another Union to Its Furlough Agreements!

Disney is going through a lot right now with the recent park closures.

And, although the company has previously stated that they would be furloughing non-essential salaried and non-union hourly Cast Members, Disney has recently started coming to agreements with unions!

On top of the agreement with American Federation of Musicians Local 389, Disney has also come to an agreement with the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers Local 2088 according to the Orlando Sentinel.

The included Disney World Guest employees will be provided with “health insurance benefits coverage, educational support and additional employee assistance programs during a temporary furlough effective April 19th.”
