The Disney Dining Plan, available exclusively to Walt Disney World Resort guests, has just gotten added a brand new fourth tier!Â

The Disney Dining Plan Plus serves as an intermediate step between the standard Disney Dining Plan and the Deluxe Dining Plan. Let’s break it down!
As readers of our Disney Dining Plan Guides already know, there were previous three tiers in the program: Quick Service, Standard, and Deluxe. Quick Service limits visitors to counter-service locations for two meals. Standard gives one quick service and one table service meal, and Deluxe gives three meal entitlements that can be used at any location. The new Plus plan offers most of the benefits of the Deluxe plan, but grants two meal entitlements per day, rather than the full three.

The new Dining Plan Plus Plan costs $94.61/night for Adults (ages 10+), and $35.01/night for Children (ages 3-9), putting it between the cost for the current Standard and Deluxe Dining Plans. The plan includes (per night of stay):
- 2 Meals — Any combination of Table-Service and Quick-Service
- 2 Snacks/Nonalcoholic Drinks
- One Resort-Refillable Drink Mug
For an example of how it breaks down, here is a 6-night stay at Animal Kingdom Lodge would break down with the plan for two adults and one child. Prior to the Dining Plan, cost for tickets and room came out to $5,851.21, so for two adults and one child you are adding $1,345.30 with the Disney Dining Plan Plus.

The new Dining Plan Plus is a great option if you’re looking for something in between the Standard and Deluxe Dining Plans. At this time, there is no word if this will be made available as part of the free Disney Dining Package, but we will let you know as we learn more information in the future!

Do you know if it includes the desert like the standard plan or appetizer like the deluxe plan?
Hi Jeff! It is like the Standard Plan, with each meal including an Entree and a Dessert, no Appetizer.
This is wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! I hope it is successful!
As of this morning the option to upgrade an existing reservation that already includes free dining is not yet available. Keeping fingers crossed that it will be an upgradable option
This is a good option for those that don’t go often or only once and big meals are part of their vacation. Or if you have big eaters in your family. We go often so gaining weight while there is no longer something we like to do anymore. I priced it out and for us we (3) would lose about $400.
Super happy for this dining plan. Have always wanted an option
like this. Hope it sticks around.
