runDisney Reveals Park Attraction Themes for Their 2020 Virtual Series!

It’s the 5th year of the runDisney Virtual Series and this year, the races will all be themed to Disney Parks attractions!

runDisney Virtual events helps bring the Disney theming to you. That way, you can run your Disney 5K in your neighborhood or on your treadmill! There’s a virtual 5K each month from June through August, with rewards available for completing one or more!

The June 5k this year will be themed around the Mad Tea Party attraction. So if you’re a lover of Alice in Wonderland, June is your month to train.

The attractions were voted on by the public so it’s no surprise that the iconic and beloved Space Mountain is the theme for the July 5K. July is definitely the month to make your running skills blast off. Get it?

And the final month of the Series brings us a Haunted Mansion-themed August 5k. Spooky!

If you’re feeling super ambitious with your running goals, you can also register for the runDisney Virtual Challenge, which pushes you to run all three of the 5Ks. This year the challenge is themed around Ticket Books from Disney Parks!

For completing any of the individual 5Ks, you’ll receive a medal that matches the month’s theme and if you complete all three 5Ks, you’ll receive an additional medal for mastering the challenge! You can register for the Virtual Events online soon, and we’ll be sure to keep you updated.
