My Disney Experience Makes BIG Updates to FastPass+ Reservations!

The My Disney Experience app makes your Walt Disney World vacation easy, with PhotoPass, Mobile Ordering, Advance Dining Reservations, and of course Fastpass+. However, if you’ve updated your app recently, you might have noticed a few tweaks to the Fastpass+ process.

My Disney Experience App

First, you’ll notice that the search option has changed. Previously, you could sort Fastpass+ windows by Morning, Afternoon, and Evening, with the option to look at specific times. Now you can only check by the hour — previously this option was in half hour increments.

We’ve also noticed that to modify the time or the attraction, it’s now on separate screens. Previously, when you wanted to change the FastPass, you were shown more times for your current selection,as well as other attractions available. Now you’ll see two change buttons on the screen below.

To change the attraction and select a new experience, you’ll click change underneath your current selection’s name. (Under where it says Haunted Mansion in the photo.)

To change the time, but keep your current attraction, simply hit change next to the current hour window. A new screen will pop up showing you more available times for that selection.

You can still refresh the screens by clicking new times to have more options show up!

You can check out these Fastpass+ enhancements in the My Disney Experience app today, available on Android, iOS, and iPad OS. Let us know what you think in the comments!

  1. I think I just want to be able to get in my car, drive to WDW, walk in the front gate and enjoy a nice quiet visit without a smart like I used to be able to do.
