Timon and Rafiki are no longer performing in the Hakuna Matata Time Dance Party, but you can now find them at their own Meet and Greet together.
These two lovable characters from The Lion King are now meeting guests daily on Discovery Island in Animal Kingdom park.
This is the first time in a long time (maybe ever!) that guests have been able to meet both of these characters together at a meet and greet spot.
Character Landing on Discovery Island, located near the entrance of Dinoland U.S.A., is hosting Timon and Rafiki for now with their very own special backdrop inspired by The Lion King.Â
Guests can have a laugh with this funny pair and pose in front of the backdrop for a memorable souvenir.

First time both together ever… Huh? I have some pics of them together from Adventureland in MK.
Actually, my wife and I were able to meet Timon and Rafiki just inside Adventureland on the “Adventureland Veranda” in 2007. And yes, they are in the same picture together! We were on our honeymoon and had just finished breakfast at The Crystal Palace when we walked over the bridge and saw these two down on the veranda. The pic we took with Timon and Rafiki still hangs on our refrigerator!
