New Chefs, Events, and Eat to the Beat Concert Updates for Epcot’s 2019 Food and Wine Festival

As the Epcot Flower and Garden Festival winds down and comes to a close in a few days, we are already getting updates for Epcot’s Food and Wine Festival!

Epcot’s International Food and Wine Festival

This year’s Epcot International Food & Wine Festival opens August 29 and runs a record-breaking 87 days until November 23, 2019.

We have some just-announced details to help you with your festival planning.

Celebrity Chef Debuts

There are several  celebrity chefs making their Food & Wine Festival debut this year including:

  • Restauranteur Fabio Viviani (September 15)
  • Food Network star and cookbook author Aarti Sequeira (November 17)
  • David Burtka (October 13), celebrity chef, author of “Life is a Party” and husband of actor Neil Patrick Harris

Sunday Brunch with the Chef

The fan-favorite Sunday Brunch with the Chef is returning. Chefs coming to brunch this year include:

  • Jamie Deen (September 1)
  • Carla Hall (September 8)
  • Richard Blais (September 22)
  • Robert Irvine (September 29)
  • Graham Elliot (November 10)

Eat to the Beat Concert Series Updates

The Eat to the Beat Concert series has added two returning favorites, and one popular newcomer to the lineup. Additions include:

  • Returning Artist: Taylor Dayne (“Tell it to My Heart”): October 3 and 4
  • NEW! India (“Mi Mayor Venganza”): October 5 and 6
  • Returning Artist: Kenny G (“Songbird”): October 14 and 15

Guaranteed concert seating is available by booking an Eat to the Beat Dining Package at participating Epcot restaurants for breakfast, lunch or dinner reservations.

Candy Sushi Returns

Kids of all ages can enjoy Candy Sushi hosted this year by Adventures by Disney with candy provided by Mars Wrigley Confectionery. Candy Sushi returns to Sunshine Seasons in The Land pavilion and will be offered two times a day at 3:30 and 5:30 for $10 per person. You can book reservations at TasteEpcot.com or stop by the location to check availability on the day-of the event.

Indulge in the Return of The Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company

This year you will find the indulgent Chocolate Experience: From Bean to the Bar hosted by Ghirardelli Chocolate Company at the entrance of the Harvest Theater in The Land pavilion. Part of this experience includes Ghirardelli serving up chocolate sundae treats that will be available for purchase at Sunshine Seasons.

New Chef Minnie and Chef Mickey Festival Merchandise

Epcot 2019 Food and Wine Festival Merchandise Preview

Chef Minnie will join Chef Mickey on this year’s Festival merchandse, accessories and apparel. You’ll also find Chef Figment accessories and home goods for Figment and purple fans. Chef Remy from Disney●Pixar’s Ratatouille will be found on apparel and kitchenware designs.
