Chip and Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree Returns to Epcot this Holiday Season

Whether you are a kid at heart, or have kids with you, a fun activity during the holiday season in Epcot is Chip and Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree Scavenger Hunt. You can complete this even if you aren’t there for the International Festival of the Holidays events.

Chip and Dale’s Christmas Tree Spree Scavenger Hunt

This activity is similar to other Epcot scavenger hunts offered throughout the year, like the Easter Egg-stravaganza or Remy’s Ratatouille Hide & Squeak during the Food and Wine Festival. As you travel around the World Showcase you’ll need to look for Chip and Dale figurines collecting ornaments for their tree. When you find one, place the corresponding sticker on your map. When you find all 11, you collect a prize.

Maps are available for purchase at several locations in the park including Pin Central, Disney Traders or World Traveler for $6.99 each. They include a set of 11 stickers indicating the ornament Chip and Dale are gathering in each country’s pavilion.

The figurines can be hidden in pavilion buildings, outside the buildings, on top of the buildings, near the rides… basically anywhere in the pavilion, so keep your eyes open as you walk around!

When you have completed the Scavenger Hunt (or placed all 11 stickers on the map), return to Disney Traders or World Traveler to pick up your prize.

The prize this year is your choice of one four-pack of greeting cards. The cards are the same in each pack and include a punch-out ornament for the recipient of the card to hang on their tree.

  1. We just returned from our Disney vacation. My 9 yr old daughter was stoked to do this activity while we toured the countries and holiday kitchens but she was super disappointed with the cards instead of the pins. The cast member cashier that we asked about spree button availability wasn’t nice about it either. In my opinion the activity is kind of a rip off now that they aren’t doing the buttons.

  2. These scavenger hunts must be for people who have visited WDW so many times they have reached the point of boredom. Perhaps it’s time to visit someplace new.

    1. Why so judgemental? This particular hunt is in Epcot’s world showcase, it’s a fun activity that helps keep kids engaged in an area where many parents would like to spend more time.
